Missy Privacy Policy

Effective 5 November 2026 · Missy for iPhone and iPad

The short version: Missy connects your iPhone directly to your own Mac. There is no Missy account, no Missy server, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. Nothing about you is collected, sold or shared.

Who we are

Missy is published by RALL Digital (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the Missy iOS app and this website. Questions: privacy@rall.digital.

What Missy does

Missy is a client for the Screen Sharing server built into macOS. Your phone talks directly to your Mac over your local network, or over a VPN you choose. The connection is between your devices only.

Information the app uses, and where it stays

Missy does not request access to your photos, contacts, location, calendars, health data, or files.

What we do not do

Third parties

The app is distributed through Apple’s App Store; Apple processes downloads, purchases (there are none) and crash reports it collects as platform operator under its own policy. Speech recognition is performed by Apple’s Speech framework as described above. We use no other third-party services.

Security

Credentials you choose to save are kept in the iOS Keychain. Authentication with your Mac uses the encryption built into the Screen Sharing protocol, and traffic stays on your network. If you connect over the internet, use a VPN you trust; we recommend not exposing port 5900 directly to the public internet.

Children

Missy is a utility for controlling your own computer and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

Your choices

Data retention

We retain nothing, because we receive nothing. Data the app stores on your device lives there until you remove it or delete the app.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted in the app’s release notes.
